What is the website about?
Bildits was founded by three friends, Rayan Barhouche, Wael Saade and Elias Chemali. The founders, have grown up in an environment encouraging creativity and challenge, so within an engineering background, they have decided to expand their knowledge to a world that children can be a part of, by creating toys that are challenging and interesting at the same time.
What did the organization wish to achieve?
The online presence purpose of Bildits is to be able to better reach the community and provide for children educational and challenging toys that encourages creativity.
Bildits aims to show the different variety of products that suits different children age ranges.
What did Polar Stork provide to Bildits?
The website was built on having an ecommerce platform to show what Bildtis offers, in addition its online presence helps it to be reachable by people in Lebanon and the GCC area from parents, to stores, and to schools that are interested in toys for children that encourages creativity. This was achieved by creating an easy to use interface for users to navigate through the products that Bildits Offers.
This was implemented by creating the below features:
- The user can go around the website and see what Bildits does and what it can offer to children of different ages categorized by difficulty, from beginner, to intermediate to advanced.
- The Website is location based, so the user can directly access to the shop that delivers to his place of residence.
- The Bildits Website is backed up by a custom easy to use content management system by building a custom theme so the admin can smoothly update and manage the content of the website in an intuitive way from text to images and colors, while optimizing the performance of the site.
- The theme built is SEO friendly powered by google schema and best practices so the website can be found easily by search engines.
